After a lecture on 'Make Do and Mend' we where set and activity to re-create a vintage item and turn it into something fresh and modern. Our group all created some initial designs on how we could alter the vintage dress, we all had similar drawings and ideas to create a play suit.

The skills that I brought to the group where mainly Pattern Draft knowledge and experience. This meant that we were able to create a decent short area of the play-suit in the short time that we had.

Here is the finished item. If I was to this project again I would prefere to use a sewing machine as it would of meant that the garment would of been produced quicker which could of meant that we could of attepmted something more complex and with greater skill level. also a sewing machine would of given the garment a better overall finish.
